This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Nov 21, Rohit Sharma rated it liked it. Without going into the details of the story line which you can check at Flipkart. She is a first time author, and she has done a commendable job by imagining all the characters, places and events mentioned in the book.
The book, itself, is very easy to read, and quite intriguing. The book is fast paced, and every chapter ends leaving you curious to read the next one. This is one major quality, which I found snega in many other books. Maybe, it was due to the publisher who may have forced the author to cut down the word-count.
But, I personally felt that the events were moving too fast, specially the climax. It was used at only one place, but it destroyed the simplicity and innocence of the book, for a moment. Snega more entdapped word would have been a better choice. People of all ages can read it, love it, and enjoy it. Sep 07, VaultOfBooks rated it did not like it. By Sneha Kedar; Grade: In fact, that is why I usually tend to stay away from them.
However, Kedqr interested me because of one reason: In fact, off the top of my head, I can think of only two authors who frequent the genre: Samit Basu hy Amish Tripathi.
Coincidentally, while they stand nowhere in sneh with good writers of the West, they have still achieved tremendous success in the country. Before even reading the novel, I thought the author was brave to write something which she knew might not be easily published, but she still went ahead and did it, and I was very impressed by that. What if these voices keep coming back to haunt you?
There is something unusual about seventeen year old Myra Bose. Born to human parents, she is a fairy, who soon starts her new journey at Fae high — a high school for fae and fairies all over the world. The recurring dreams which will unfold many dark secrets.
Myra has lot of things to handle right now — her attention seeking first love Ryan Swift, her trustworthy new friends and the never-ending haunting dreams. The story is this: Myra Bose is a normal Indian girl until her seventeenth birthday.
She is informed by her parents that she is actually a fairy and will have to attend Fae High, a school for fairies and faes male fairies. She finds out that her grandmother was a fairy as well.
Once in Fae High, she enhrapped getting some strange dreams. She sets out on an adventure along with her friends to find out the reason behind them. To tell you the truth, the blurb put me off. It is just so stiff. At least that is how it came across, anyway. The story came across as extremely childish.
Also it was very unconnected. Time passes by so sporadically in the book, that you cannot make out whether it is days, or weeks, or even months. There entrappe too many grammatical errors in the story. The tenses, the language and the punctuation are all incorrect in many places.
I respect that kind of hard work, and try to be as lenient as possible. However, I can absolutely not tolerate grammatical errors, especially on such a large scale. These kinds of mistakes have to be attributed to the editors. Even if the author let some errors creep in by bg, it is the job of the editors to make sure they do not make their way into the final manuscript.
The author has potential, in my view, but this novel failed to showcase and entrappex it as much as I would have liked. I would definitely like to read the next book that Ms. Kedar writes, but this one just failed to give me the zing. Originally reviewed at www. Oct 31, Soumi rated it it was ok Shelves: First of all i’m a fantasy and fairy lover, but this book is childish, for the middle grades, not YAs. While reading this i was feeling i’m watching a Barbie in a fairy ekdar movie.
I enjoyed this book but it’s not a book you can read nseha. What i like about this book is the idea of fae school and the four elements which influences fairies to get their power and bond of friendship. The main draw backs are lack of snhea and romance both. The author should have created more exciting environment w First of all i’m a fantasy and fairy lover, but this book is childish, for the middle grades, not YAs.

The author should have created more exciting environment when she revealed Myra is a fairy. Ugh, the chemistry between Ryan and Myra is nothing hy i expected again their romance was like Barbie and ken.
I expected Ryan to be more heroic but he’s not, and his character was too short. There should be mystery about those traps or describe more about the forest, the mysterious creatures living forest, the environment and history of the fae school and dark magics. The fight sequence in the end was very short, i was surprised how could those students defeated dark witches so easily BANG another drawback.
It’s entrappped be embarrassing if i compare this book with Iron fey or Wicked lovely. But i must say the language is easy and fun.
Best of luck for the author for her next book. May 30, Abhishek Thakkar rated it it was ok. Author definitely, has got potential but it doesn’t unfurl completely.
The writing needs to be enhanced but book delights at time. The character creation seems cliche but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t delirious. I strongly feel there was jedar lot of potential in terms of describing action vividly and at times, story didn’t convince completely. One needs more time to learn about Myra. In fact, readers need more information dntrapped satisfy their curiosity. I think author has the potential and I belie Author definitely, has got potential but it doesn’t unfurl completely.
I think author has the potential and I believe in her that she can write much better. Writing part and detailing part was less effective. Story delighted but not greatly. It’s good to begin your fantasy reading esp. It could have been much better! But I entgapped surely read the next part. Sep 18, Thebookvamp rated it really liked it. Entrapped is okay to read book
