Coerced into spending seven interminable days with Julian Ascher, Serena’s emotions war between abject hatred and paralyzing fear.

It’s a fresh take on paranormal romance, where both characters give equally and the plot is well flushed out and interesting.

chomg It’s just the rest of it she needs to work on. I didn’t have any problems or major chongg with Julian or the secondary characters. More accurately, its the home of an Archdemon – a demon who answers only to the Devil himself – and one who just happens to own this particular nightclub as well as all of Los Angels and Serena has just fallen prey to his unwavering focus.

Another being noticed this too. I liked her take on angels, but wished there was something else that made it stand out against the roaring trend of angels in paranormal romance. Now faced with an impossible decision involving her family, friends, and Assignee, Serena makes a deal with a demon.
